WORKSHOPS
Time to think clearly.
Most leadership teams are too busy running the organisation to step back and look at it. Our workshops create that space: a facilitated session where the right people work on the questions that matter, and leave with decisions, not just discussion.
For boards, executives, owners, leadership teams, member groups, clubs and conferences.
Workshops run public or in-house, with preparation and follow-up included.
WHY WORK THIS WAY
What a workshop can do.
Gets the real issues on the table
Independent facilitation makes it easier to raise what people discuss privately but avoid collectively.
Aligns the people who have to act
Board, executives and staff leave with a shared view of priorities, roles and next steps.
Turns thinking into action
Every session ends with decisions, owners and a clear write-up, so the momentum doesn’t fade on Monday.

SIGNATURE WORKSHOP - ONE DAY
Is This Still Working?
Where you are, where you’re heading — and what may need to change. A practical working day for business owners, executives, boards, sporting organisations, associations and community leaders.
Time to step back.
We keep operating, growing and working hard without stopping to ask whether the assumptions, priorities, structures and activities that brought us here are still right for where we need to go next. When you’re close to the day-to-day, it’s hard to challenge what has become normal.
You won’t leave with our answers. You’ll leave with better questions.
-
Who we serve, what we value, and who would notice if we disappeared.
-
What performs, what consumes disproportionate effort, and what continues only because it’s familiar.
-
Technology, customers, members, workforce, costs and competition. If we started today, would we build it the same way?
-
What is discussed privately but avoided collectively — and the conversation we keep putting off.
-
Moving from diagnosis to real choices for the next phase.
-
The decisions, actions, measures and conversations that start immediately.
A working day.
The day
9:00 Opening · Questions 1–3 through the morning · Lunch · Questions 4–6 in the afternoon · 3:45 Close: one insight, one decision, one conversation.
Today is
Experienced questioning · structured assessment · honest discussion · constructive challenge · a process for turning reflection into decisions and action.
Today is not
Motivational coaching · a formula for 10x growth · a personality assessment · a generic strategic plan · us claiming to know your answers.
You do most of the work
About a third framing, stories and questions from us; two-thirds individual assessment, table discussion and challenge applied to your own organisation.
Your workbook.
“20 Questions Every Organisation Should Occasionally Ask Itself” - short diagnostic questions, evidence-versus-assumption prompts, space for your own observations, the Stop / Change / Protect / Create framework, and your Monday page: three decisions, three actions, one conversation you’ve been avoiding, one thing to stop, one thing to measure differently.
We share real stories — including decisions that didn’t work — and many that did.
Public workshops
Check out our Events Calendar for upcoming dates and locations.
In-house for your team
The same questions applied to one organisation, with confidential discussion.
Versions for your organisation
Tailored examples and stories for your context.
BOARD AND EXECUTIVE WORKSHOP · HALF DAY OR FULL DAY
Beyond the Strategic Plan
What happens after your current strategy ends? Most strategic plans look three to five years ahead. This workshop takes boards and leadership teams out of the normal planning cycle for a structured conversation about the longer-term future. It isn’t another strategic plan in a day.
You leave with a clearer view of your longer-term horizon, the major questions to address, emerging areas of opportunity, and a view on whether setting a long-term ambition and intent would add value. It can stand alone or open a long-term strategy engagement.
WORKSHOP SUMMARY
-
What defines the organisation today, and what should endure?
-
The trends, disruptions, expectations and opportunities that could reshape your environment.
-
What the organisation could realistically become over a 10–20 year horizon.
-
What you might need to grow, change, protect, stop or begin.
-
Which decisions deserve attention now because their consequences reach beyond the current plan.
